The significance of that number is that it is the amount of inches I have lost from my body this last one and a half months. Two of the inches were from around the chest showing that I am losing the back “boobs”. Some areas gained an inch, but that was muscle–my thighs are firming up! When I did the little BMI it showed that I had lost 2.5 lbs of fat. Even though I haven’t lost a ton of weigh, my body is being changed. Hubby told me he could see it being reshaped so I guess that is a SPUNK as well! So keep up the exercise, Girls. It does makes a huge difference.
At the beginning of the year, Hubby wants to go on South Beach Diet because a friend of his did and you could really tell a difference in his face after only 2 weeks (11 lbs.). I told him about Blest’s experience as well. He isn’t ready to start right now because we will be going up north for the holidays and that means authentic German cakes and cooking, chocolate pie and shrimp gumbo with hot rice, and he isn’t about to give that up. I am looking forward to a new year with a Hubby helping me with the eating part of my weight loss journey. Hey, he’s already “making” me go to the gym almost every day.
So, thank you for all the encouragement from this end. It is nice to know others are sharing the journey.
Woohoo! Go LeighAnn And a welcome to your hubby to the beach as and when it happens!
