Another travel day down. Two more to go!
Tonight we ate at Outback. I haven’t been there since I started South Beach back in July! I had my usual Outback special (steak) but instead of a salad and baked potato, I had steamed veggies and steamed broccoli as my sides. Though if I had known that the mixed veggies were primarily broccoli, I would’ve ordered steamed green beans instead. As it was, I had a LOT of broccoli! But it was delicious!! And they made it with no butter, just as I ordered.
It’s silly - but I’ve gotten so hooked on healthy food that it seems like I can feel the nutrients coursing through me after I eat. I feel really good! Instead of that feeling you get when you scarf down a coupla Burger King burgers, a large fries, and a coke. Blurgh!
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go check out Applebee’s online menu. I’m meeting my oldest blog buddy for the first time!!
blest — fantastic! you’re quite inspiring…
does anyone have suggestions for good travel food when flying? (and when you don’t have a lot of extra carry-on space for food and can’t take liquids) thanks!

Glad the travelling is going well. Keep up the good work and enjoy meeting with people. Remember we want reports - especially if you meet OWOA peeps

Well, come January, Bethany will be an OWOA peep!! She would have joined at the beginning - being my oldest e-friend, but she was pregnant! Baby Rebekah arrived in October, so Bethany will be ready to attack all that babyfat next month!!

Anne… How about a premeasured serving of mixed nuts, an apple, some baby carrots, and/or a small serving of reduced fat Triscuits with hummus?
