Ok, well I had a lot more hope for what I would lose this last week and it was all crushed when I got on the scale this morning. No change. Still 163/190/150. I am retaining water like a mad woman! So I think next weeks or the week after will be pretty drastic. Oh well.

153/140/128 - I think down 2 from when I last weighed in…which might have been about three months ago. No excuse, I had a bad couple of weeks and felt so discouraged and ‘everybody’ seemed to be doing so well, etc, etc. Then it was Christmas, and then I was embarrassed b/c it had been so long since I’d checked in.
So…I’m back. I really want to lose this last 12 lbs or so, and soon - especially in case we decide to have another baby, I want to have lost all the weight first. I’ve gone back to work since I was last here - just one morning a week in the office, and then 10-12 hours at home, but boy it sure cuts into my spare time! I do it all when the kids are sleeping, so either early early morning or in the evenings, so finding time to exercise has been a real challenge.
I’m looking forward to being back here and having some kind of accountability.

I just weighed myself this morning and I’m down another 1.4 to 229.2 (short term goal reached again )
(It’s that time of the month, so yesterday I thought I was done retaining water, but this morning suggested otherwise!)
That means I went down 3.4 this week. I know that I haven’t been getting hungry in the mornings and have been having to remind myself to eat. I don’t think I’ve been eating enough carbs - I’ve probably only had one serving or less each day.
This week I want to try to make sure I fit in more carbs because I know that rapid weight-loss long-term is not good.
If anyone has a moment this week it’d be good if you could keep me accountable and ask me what I’ve eaten in the last couple of days. Thanks people
This is Mandi just letting you all know I’m alive! I’m at 15 weeks in my pregnancy and the scale is starting to nudge up….man it is really hard when I worked so hard to get it down. But just yesterday someone asked me if I had a miscarriage (apparently because I looked so thin) - hey I’ll take it. ;O) Baby is doing well but I am on “pelvic rest” because I’ve had alot of spotting/bleeding so I’m pretty much limited to the elliptical, yoga, and my strength and balance class right now. I’m still really trying to keep up my exercise habits in hopes that it will make my c-section recovery that much easier. You ladies have all been doing fantastic! Keep up the great work!

Hi everyone! I missed weigh in yesterday. My parents were in town and were leaving in the morning, so it was a hectic morning. I had the day off, so I kept my daughter home and we were out and about all day, so I missed weighing in the morning.
I was going to weigh in this morning but decided to go this week without weighing in. I didn’t eat very good this weekend and I’m afraid to see what the scale has to say, so I’m back on track this week and will weigh next Monday.

I know that’s cos my body had been all confused about what time zone it’s in and I had to make myself eat Thurs-Sat cos it wasn’t feeling hungry, just tired and cold.

The sunshine calls me out although some days there really isn’t time. Had a lovely weekend with all three daughters here to celebrate Debs return. We ate roast beef and Christmas pudding (home made)which was very yummy. Just several late nights so am very tired today. Debs is not really back on London time yet either. And I am having to fight for time on the computer. Fortunately she is now finding her laptop and the wireless network is behaving so that’s good. She just havs to get used to it’s particualr quirks again. PLus its a little old now. Well done Nikki for sticking at the phase 1 and Debs is doing so well. She is looking great.

hanging in here. we got the official dx, not unexpected, but still harder to handle than I expected. My youngest child, my almost 4 yo son, has autism. Prognosis: uncertain. He needs to be able to communicate.
anyway, I’m still trying, but mostly just hanging onto the rope asking God to hold on to me.

I can’t believe that I am commenting here today. I really don’t want to, but I need some major accountability. Would someone mind checking on me this week? I have been super bad and I need to check with someone. I am starting phase 1 again today. Yes! AGAIN! I lost 30 lbs before Christmas on south beach and I am up 10 from my lowest. Today…170/190/150. I am super embarrassed cause I have come on here and confessed so many times and failed. I am such an all or nothing girl. I lost it all before cause I never ever cheated, but once I did, I never stopped. So there ya go. I hate how my body feels on phase one so I have to remind myself that its only a 2 week period and I will survive a few headaches and low energy. Come on now…I have been pregnant 3 times…what’s 2 weeks?

So I’m limiting myself to pilates, stretching, and 1 30-min light cardio workout this week along with hopefully remembering to put ice on it daily.
Oh! And I did my challenge (I did a yoga video!) but I forgot to write about it. Whoops.

Wow! Wonderful job ladies! Even to you Nikki!! It takes a lot to start over and get a boost so you can pick up where you left off. In my experience it’s harder to do phase 1 again, but you’ll make it. Think how fast the weight came off the last time you boosted with phase 1, right after Christmas. Just remember to eat ENOUGH.

Today is my lowest weight in probably 2 years! Hurray! Down 1 from my last check in. I’ve had to remind myself to eat regularly and take time for breakfast again, or my progress will all be for nothing.

I forgot to weigh this morning. Not sure what that says about me. Either I don’t care about the weight anymore which is probably a good thing. Now I am at goal I have to not obsess too much about weighing all the time but trust I am sticking to the good habits.
Or it is because my brain is too full of stuff to remember I am supposed to weigh on Mondays. this is also true. Work and voluntary stuff just seem to mean no let up at the moment.
Anyway HH points - only 8. O dear. I meant to try pilates for my challenge but only got as far as printing some exercises not doing them. i just ran out of time. I did find out I need to drink 3 1/2 pints water a day and am trying to do so. I think generally I drink more than I used to and probably enough but its good to check up on it occasionaly.
Tami, are you out there? It seems to me you haven’t been around much. Everything ok? I thought about posting asking, but didn’t want to embarrass you. I was just thinking of how we seem to struggle with a lot of the same stuff. I hope you are well.

Uggghhh! Saturday I was fine, a small loss. Now today I had gained 5 pounds! I know why, I can certainly feel all the symptoms, but it doesn’t make me feel better. I was even good at the SB party last night.

I’m in the same boat with you other girls that have had a hard time the past week (more like 4-5wks. for me).
I am going back on phase one with ya’ll. I’ve got to get a grip on myself. I’ve been so busy I either don’t eat or I eat things I shouldn’t. Sometimes I’m really busy and don’t eat all day then I’m stinkin starven like a mad women and just eat what ever. I don’t keep alot of really bad things in the house but even really good whole wheat, high fiber bread is not good if you eat 3 slices at one time!! So here we go phase one!!!!
I love you all and you are in my prayers even though I have so busy and haven’t stopped to tell you!!!

We’re in WA! Left TN last Wednesday and got here around 8 Saturday evening. I’m starting the day at a ghastly 189. The beautiful thing is that my kitchen is starting TOTALLY from scratch. I went shopping yesterday and my kitchen is mostly SB friendly (aside from the kid’s cereal which they only munch occasionally and their fries and chicken nuggets but I’m completely uninterested in all of it). I have begun phase 1 this morning.

Jana, don’t be discouraged. How do you feel about the weight you’re at? Maybe your body knows that this is a good weight for you? If you still feel like you have to loose more though, maybe the fact that you’re not doing anything differently is part of the reason…maybe your body has gotten used to the exercising you do and the foods you eat. Maybe you need to switch that up some?

I’m going to weigh in tomorrow morning. I was gone all weekend to a scrapbook retreat, so I got no exercise on Sat and Sun and I ate not so healthy foods, plus I came down with a cold. So I’m giving myself Monday to get back in the swing of things…do some exercising, eat healthy and then tomorrow morning I’ll weigh in. Mental…all mental…I don’t want to see the numbers on the scale this morning.

Doing well. Just trying to figure out what we are doing. We are in temporary housing until the 27th by which time we have to have a house or be renting. Jeff flew back to TN to drive us to WA and now I take him to the airport today so he can go to Oklahoma for a week. I tell you, life is still up in the air but I’m going to take complete control of one area.

Cristina - it could be the food, I guess. I’ve done a wide variety of different kinds of exercise over the last eight weeks. I still feel like I need to lose that last 8-10 pounds. Though my original goal was 150, so I guess technically I hit it!

169.2 up 2. I am hoping it is just a temporary blip but think I had better take myself in hand.
Last week was not good from the exercise point of view. walking with my mum who moves slowly and not much other exercise. Too many little extras not on the South beach programme. A whonk is needed I think. Still now we have a treadmill that works so Deb is going to show me how to use it. If I can find the time that is. Today was a nonstop one from first lesson at 8am to 8.15 this evening when I got home.
Tami great to see you back. Enjoy settling in to your new area and hope the house issue gets sorted soon.

I’ve been dreading this…I weighed myself this morning. 212, up 5 lbs since my last weight in on Feb 11th. I know I have been snacking more than I should in the evenings but I honestly didn’t expect 5lbs because during the week days I eat healthy and I’ve been working out hard.
Well, onwards and upwards….or downwards in my case…I need those numbers to go down. Next week will be better!
