Down 3. I was well behaved during the week, but then had too much sugar over the weekend (probably PMT) which made me feel pretty sick. I’m doing Phase 1 again for a week (or as long as I can stand it, it usually makes me feel rotten) as a sort of reset.
220/167.6/168 Down 2.4 and back below goal. Have taken myslef in hand and done a few days (well 2 so far)on phase 1. I felt I was craving the sugar and needed to break it. Also felt I was in danger of creeping up and didn’t like it. not sure how long I will stay on phase 1, I miss the fruit so perhaps put that back in first.
Debs, you know what’s really fantastic?? Two weeks+ of illness, and you yourself saying that you perhaps have been eating a bit too much, but you’re ONLY up a pound over those two weeks!
Last year you had binge weeks where you put on five, remember? Look at your progress!!! You ROCK!
And yay to your mummy (that is her under your name, yes?) and your seester, and Stephanie!
Thanks Blest you are a great encourager. And yes it was me masquerading as Debs but she fixed it for me so it’s right now. It makes a change for me to be logging in so early in the day as I usually do it late at night after my hectic Monday. Look forward to reading how everyone else is doing but well done Bekki you have reversed the trend and well done Stephanie too. Debs is here with me so I an encourage her in person at least I hope I do.
No change. Nothing! I did horrible over the weekend (again! ack, I see a trend) and I’m sure that I could do better and exercise more. Atleast there wasn’t a gain. That’s good right? I’ve actually really been looking into switching plans. right now I’m following WW and maybe after my 3mo of them is up I’ll jump of the SB bandwagon. I’m thinking that might be more suited to my needs. Idk. See ya next week! Stephine
I wish I were down more…I did good all week but went to Cheesecake Factory on Saturday. I did semi-good there…I ordered mahi mahi with brocoli and I had them substitue the fries with snow peas BUT then I got linda’s fudge cake. Yummmm!
Anyways, I know some of this is water gain due to that time…so next week will be better…despite me being out of town this weekend!!!!
Ladies…great job! Everyone is doing great…one weigh or another!
No weighing in today. We just returned home from an extended weekend with my in-laws. My mother-in-law moved into an assisted living home a couple of weeks ago and is having a hard time adjusting. And my father-in-law is recovering from asperated pneumonia, but is having other elderly issues - stubborn, crankiness. My husband may have to drive back over (300 miles) again this week depending on what happens. Join me in making a mental note to not be cranky and stubborn when we all get to the point of needing additional care! Oy. And, please pray for wisdom and stamina for my husband and his siblings in dealing with aging parents. One of his older sisters has been doing the bulk of the work and her whole family was down with the flu this weekend. Blech.
168/139/130…up 1 again. It has been a crazy week and weekend and I am leaving on a business trip to Minnesota tomorrow. I’m a little frustrated… I have been eating right..just still not too much exercise. Since moving back home I haven’t drank enough water either. I am enjoying Diet Sun-Drops(a soda a lot like mountain dew..but better) A LOT!!! When I lived away from home I could never get them, now I’m going overboard. My mom loves Sun-Drop so much that she would tell us to leave Santa Sun-Drop and cookies at Christmas! Guess it’s in the genes!
Bird, good to see you. We’ve missed you (although Brandi’s been around, so we knew you were alive!).
Anne, praying your hips gets sorted out and better soon.
Brandi, praying you feel better soon.
ChristyF, how about rewarding yourself with Sun-drop after you’ve drunk x amount of water. That way you’d get in more water, and it might help you ease back on the sun-drop!
Anita, I’m praying for you your hubby’s family and that whole situation.
223.8
As I said in my post, up .6 from last week, and that’s up 1 over the last couple of weeks.
I’m determined to turn it around for next week.

Blest, were you pumping iron at 7 in the morning?!
And yes, putting it that way (compared to last year) it’s wasn’t too bad, but I don’t want it to become a trend.
I’m now on some killer drugs (well, to kill the infection, not me!) and I’m gonna get my booty moving again, and get that pound off, and more!

I think that’s up about 1.8, but it’s that time of the month, and I’m still well within my range of 145-150.

I would like to reassure people that once I’m better my apostrophe use will return to normal, but I’m afraid I may be beyond help.

I’m alive! And holding steady at 138. With a hip injury that’s put me into physical therapy, I’m ok with that although still trying to eat healthier.

Deb’s you are the greatest!! Thanks for the idea. I’ll actually be Sun-dropless for a few days while I am away so that should help!!

Anne - if your hip injury requires any anti-inflammatory drugs like mine did, you may consider trying bromelain. It helped me a lot.
