Weigh in Here

Good Morning, and happy Monday.

(Blest, where are you? Hope everything’s ok, and that you don’t mind me putting a weigh-in post up)

    See Jana, all you had to do was decide you were at goal, and then you lose a bit more! How are the headaches?

  5. 130. Surprisingly. I actually got to the club twice last week and did several hours of gardening. We call working on the yard “working out in the Pro Yard”. There’s a very expensive health club here called the Pro Club. Lame joke, I know.

  7. On Wednesday morning I weighed myself and toppled off the scale at 196. I’m down to 193 so -3 which is not what I had hoped for but I’ll take it. AF is knocking on my door and it wasn’t a perfect week but a MUCH better week. This week will be as close to perfect as perfect can be!

  8. You can do it Tami. Well done for persevering.
    I am down 3.2 to 164.4 my lowest ever so am finishing phase 1 and on to phase 2. Original goal was 168 so am interested to see if a little lower is ok. (NB am 6 feet tall!)
    I did about 3 days of proper phase 1 then added in fruit for another 5 days but think it has cut the cravings which is good.

    The scale moved, YAY! down 1.8.
    I’ve been sick with an upper respiratory infection so no exercise lately. Goal for me this week is to try and get back on track and moving.

  11. Cograts on the loss Stephine, hope you feel better soon - I can fully sympathise on the being ill thing. My body seemed to have that down to a fine art, but I actually think I might have it kicked now.

  13. I’m up from two weeks ago. A lot.
    222, to be exact. Blah!
    So I’m going back to Phase 1 and setting a short term goal for 210 (since short term goals seem to work well for many of you, so I’m gonna give it a try).
    I expected it because I’ve been emotionally eating to deal with stress and not exercising much. Or sleeping enough. All deadly combos. BUT, I have been drinking lots more water than I was. Now let me try to bring all the elements together…

  15. Great work, ladies! Especially to you, Debs, Elly and Debbieboo (you, Boo, because I’m proud of you for “getting back up and trying again…YOU CAN DO IT!)

    Me–123
    Although up from my initial goal, this seems to be a good weight for me. I’m thinking about doing a post called “don’t make the same mistake I made.” About setting too low of a goal and then if you find a healthier weight to be higher, you have a hard time not feeling like you are a dieting failure :-)

  16. (coming in to weigh in, head down, knowing I haven’t been weighing in for a long time, have been contemplating giving up my place in the team, since I haven’t been helping anyone else like someone in a team ought to do, but I don’t want to quit… so here I am.)

    last week I was 253. This week I am 250. Two months ago I was 240. You can see that this isn’t the direction I have been trying to go.

    Life has taken me down a hard path, but Jesus is the same God on the hard path as he is on the fun path.

    And I can’t quit. I need to be thinner. For more reasons than ever.

    So here I am.

    I’ve come I don’t know how many times with my tail tucked between my legs. You’re here and that is the most important thing. I know how hard and humbling it is to say to someone, I’ve failed. I don’t like it but I’ve failed. I don’t want a lecture. you can fill in the blanks….
    We love you and are so glad that you’re still here! You know what?! You lost 3 pounds this week!!!! That is totally awesome!

    Down 0.4. I gave up on Phase 1 on Thursday afternoon. I sort of did OK on Friday and Saturday, but Sunday was very carby and all pretence at trying went out of the window.
    I’m trying to eat sensibly, but I’m struggling. I’m very down and not feeling very positiive about anything.

  21. Since it’s my first time checking in here, I will post my starting weight today~

    205 lbs. (Although I reserve the possibility that this is actually a lot less than I actually weigh. I’m going to check the correctness of my scale by comparing it to the doctor’s office one on Friday.)

    Down 1/2 a pound. I’m ok with that, as long as I don’t do something stupid and gain a pound or two or ten in any given week. :-)

    I’ve actually sat back and looked at the big picture lately, and the big pic is that I’m a loooooong way away from where I started — a chubby 231.5. I’m happy that my overall trend has continued downward. I’m at the lowest I’ve ever been, and doing quite well.

  24. Ok well I am only down 2 this week. That is bad because I was super good last week then blew it last night. I was down 4 pounds Friday so I am really annoyed!

  27. I weighed myself yesterday, but just didn’t weigh-in here. 138.2, which was up 0.2 since last week (essentially a wash). I’ll take steady while my hip’s healing.
