Jingle Scales Jingle Scales
Jingle all the weigh
You’ve worked hard
The whole week through
And now it’s time to say-ay
Jingle Scales
Jingle Scales
Jingle all the weigh
Step on board and check your stats
Today is weigh-in day!!
Yes, I confess, I recycled the carol from last year’s weigh in…but it’s still cute, eh? Happy December Everyone!! I think it’s the Christmas Season - it must be, I’m exhausted! How was your weekend? And how is you weigh-in?!!
303/303/150
Well I have been maintaining at what I have been, which I guess since I cannot exercise I should be thankful for. I call today for the MRI appt, so we can see if I will need surgery. Hope everyone has a great week!!!!

It was a nice weekend. We got some snow. Then it turned to rain. There were neighborhood get-togethers. And some knitting and a movie. Nice.

139.0…. with a short-term goal of 137.0 by xmas. and my weekend was good! my college football team beat our rival (and we weren’t supposed to!)
happy monday to all.

257.2
Up slightly from last week, but most likely just water so trying not to panic about it.
Comment by debs — December 3, 2007 @ 8:31 am |Edit This
Not just “most likely” water. It HAS to be water. I know there is no weigh she is gaining - well - unless it’s muscle.
Comment by blest — December 3, 2007 @ 8:34 am |Edit This
I lost three pounds this week. I have found so much encouragement here - thanks!!

200/168.4/160
Up 1.6 from last week. Not the most well behaved week.
Term is entering the serious and tried stage. Trying not to panic.

239.8/213.2/209 (stg)
I am down 1.2, which puts me back to where I was before Thanksgiving.
I changed my stg, I’d like to be out of the 2-teens by Dec 31st. I think it’s doable, it’ll just be very hard due to the holidays.
Have a great week everyone!

168/148/130…no change
I worked all weekend so I was busy.
Comment by ChristyF — December 3, 2007 @ 10:01 am |Edit This
Guess I should at least do the weigh in before heading out tomorrow…
I consider this a new starting point so my top number is no longer 165 but instead it is where I was last week.
156/154/35-140 somewhere
After surgery I will have about 6 weeks and then I can resume exercise - light walking to start. I am also doing more vegetarian once I am back in control of my kitchen… LOL that will be about 4 weeks - just around the start of a new year.
It feels good to be back here, btw…

Good to have you Leann
Comment by debs — December 3, 2007 @ 10:29 am |Edit This
Oooops… that should be 135 not 35… LOL

232/222.2/149.9
Up .2 from last week but I was so full of water I felt like . . . something you fill with water (the analogy part of my brain is apparently malfunctioning; my apologies).
My goal is to be out of the twenties in two weeks, if not by next week.
Comment by Debbie/Boo — December 3, 2007 @ 11:24 am |Edit This
160 still. No change but it was a heavier 160 than last week. I don’t have a digital scale, but it was a fuller 160. I was not a good girl in Disneyland. I didn’t follow plan, but in the up side I didn’t over eat. I was always in control of what I was having even if it wasn’t a good choice. Oh well, its a new week. Onward and upward.
Blest, I loved your tune!
Comment by Nikki — December 3, 2007 @ 11:32 am |Edit This
183 - I’m up 1. I can’t even give a grrr to anything but myself. I was NOT the most well behaved person out there last week.
Comment by Tami — December 3, 2007 @ 11:42 am |Edit This
196.5…up .5 from last week, but relieved that it wasn’t more after this weekend. I tried to stay on plan as much as possible, and saved my “splurges” for special treats (mmm, Bubba Gumps was fun!). Plus last week I was really having a hard time with cravings…must be that “time?” So overall, not too displeased at a little .5 which hopefully will fall off again tomorrow after tap.
Have a good week and thanks for sharing!
Comment by elizabeth — December 3, 2007 @ 12:21 pm |Edit This
I could gain .5 by looking at a glass of water.
Comment by Nikki — December 3, 2007 @ 3:29 pm |Edit This
Mmmmm… water. Gotta get me some of that…
Okay, better.
216/179/165 stg
Steady. I lose some, gain a little less and then plateau. I don’t think I am going to make my stg by New Year’s but I’ll keep going.
Great job, Becky! You’ve just encouraged us!
It’s wonderful to “see” you around, Leann.

No change still at 166.2. Pleased to be maintaining. I try to eat normally and still avoid some of the carbs that I used to have but really I am eating mostly what I like now. It’s trying not to eat too much and be sensible with snacks to stop me munching the biscuits etc that might be around. I still carry my snacks with me most days but it pays off. I know my appetite is smaller and I can’t take too much sweet stuff. Lets hope I can still maintain through the holiday season. Still getting the compliments which feels great.

123
I was not happy to see THAT number this morning! (Up 3 from my previously met goal.)
I know it’s mostly water retention for various reasons, so I’m trying not to worry. I’m trying to listen more for God’s view on how I am doing…asking Him to search my heart…rather than the number on the scale.
My goal is to transition from weighing daily to listening to the Lord on how I am doing with food, etc.

Oh! I thought I had weighed in already!

I’m guessing this is Blest under Debs name. If not, Blest, can you take a TON of weight off of me really quick like?
Comment by Tami — December 3, 2007 @ 7:06 pm |Edit This
OOPS!!
Fixed it!

I think all of you are amazing. It’s such a blessing to read ‘real’ progress and accounts from you all. I appreciate your honesty and words of hope and faith because it really puts me in renewed perspective. If you can do it, I can do it! I know God doesn’t care how many curves I have, but He does think I can do better, and that’s motivating. Even if I am not losing as much or fast as others, I’m encouraged that the way my body feels inside lets me know I’m doing well. (Plus today someone at work asked me if I’m losing! wow!) Once again, mom was right…I should eat protein for breakfast everyday. God bless you all!
I don’t think it’s too early,so Merry Christmas too!

Up 2. I just wrote a whole bunch but it didn’t take my 1st comment. Seeing if this works …
Comment by Bird — December 4, 2007 @ 11:10 am |Edit This
… ok it worked. Anyway, I weighed in yesterday and gained two. Today that two is gone. In any event, I need to adjust my diet. I’ve been eating too much. Eating too many meats and too many cheeses.
