Okay…so these don’t totally count - since I did somewhat expect them. I mean, my parents most certainly already knew about my weight loss. I talk to my mom almost every day, after all! But last night when we got here, my dad greeted me with “Hello skinny” (a gross overstatement, but I’ll take it!) and my mom has told me more than once that I look great! Plus she has given me that great mommy-praise of telling me how proud she is and how great I’m doing. (I’m just a-soakin’ it up) And being the uber-cool mom that she is, she topped it off with a present. We happened upon a bead store which was going out of business and in addition to the obscene amount of beads I bought myself, my mom bought me a beautiful petrified wood pendant as a reward for my progress.
Now that’s what I call a SPUNK!
That’s so cool! I know it means a LOT to me when my parents say things like that!

I just love it when my Mom compliments me. Sometimes that means more to me thatn anyone else. I haven’t seen my hubby in about a month, I can’t wait to see what he says. Great job skinny!:)

WOOHOO!!! I think parental ones count for sure - got one from my mom the other day (non weight related) and I loved it. I’m actually looking forward to seeing them at Thanksgiving - I hope they can see a difference.
You’re doing awesome Blest - you totally deserve the attention for it!
