Scales not budging??? (Leann)

Hang in there ladies! It is important to reevaluate from time to time. Mandi is right… it may be time to shake things up a bit. Look at what you are doing and see where you can make small changes for this week.

If you are exercising out of doors take a different route and maybe step up your distance. If you are on a treadmill or bike up the incline or tension and time. You need to realize that as you lose weight you will need fewer calories to keep losing (I am not talking starving only cutting a hundred calories if you are on a 2000 calories a day move it to 1800-1900 instead)so reevaluate that, too.

Make a new change… if you have gone from whole milk to 2% then take it down again to 1%. If you have always eaten white bread and have moved to a wheat bread check it and see if there is any white flour in it and go to a more whole wheat version. Use whole wheat pasta and tortillas instead of the semolina and white flour ones. Still sneaking sugar or artificial sweeteners? Cut back more this week on those things, too.

Do some of those things you hear on the television and park further from the store when you go shopping. Turn off the television and computer and do some gardening. If you are at work take the stairs instead of an elevator or take a walk during your lunch break. Grab the family when you get home and take a family stroll around the neighborhood.

Find some new recipes to try this week from your Weight Watcher’s or other plans you are using. Try a new fruit or veggie this week that you have never tried or have not tried in a long time.

Drink that water!!! I know I really struggle with this one…

Just make some simple changes and let’s see how the new week goes. :)

  1. And cut out before bed eating!! I’m convinced that my steady good weight loss is due in large part to cutting out my before bed eating. Stop eating at least two hours before you hit the pillow…Just think of your hunger pains as your body eating away at your fat!! :razz:
