My first post here at One Weigh … I guess it’s sink or swim time! I’m Stephanie, mama to two little girls (2&3/4 and 6 months) and wife to my favorite person in the whole world here in Tennessee. But why am I here? I need accountability in my weight loss journey. I’m overweight … the product of just loving food, being married to man with fantastic metabolism and trying to keep up with him, and having two hugemongo babies that have stretched me to no end! I’ve struggled with this most of my adult life - I managed to lose about 60 lbs. before my wedding and keep it off until my first pregnancy … that’s where I want to be again!
Because I’m nursing, I’m trying to start by just making sensible choices while I figure out what is the best way for me to diet this time around. Also, Lord willing, we want more children, so this isn’t just about dieting for me, it’s about learning to make good food choices that will stick with me for life. I’ve done Weight Watchers in the past (love it!) but am not sure I’m up to counting points this time around.

Edited for Leann: My blog is here. At this point, I’m leaning towards Weight Watchers because I know the plan cold, but I may do more of their core plan which is unlimited fruits and veggies and other core foods. That’s what I’m thinking anyway!
