Swinging Wide

Oh boy, introductions. *cough, cough* I’m not good at these things. My name is Anita and you can find me out on the web in at least a couple of places… Average Girl and Rhubarb Patch.

I don’t have a lot to loose, maybe 20 pounds. But they say it’s always those last 20 that kill ya! Now that my 40’s have hit me, I’m getting scared about what I’ll look like when I’m 50! If I do the math, I’ve gained an average of 1 pound a year since I graduated from college. Unfortunately, not that slowly. The first 10 were in my 30’s when I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. And the last 10 were a couple of years ago when I injured my knee. Now that my knee has recovered, I really want to get back into shape! Unfortunately, I LOVE to cook and LOVE to eat. But I’m learning to let go of the things that I seem to hold onto so tightly, food being one of them.

My goals are:
– not buy anymore bigger sizes and be able to comfortably wear the clothes I have. (maybe even buy smaller sizes)
– become more athletic rather than sit behind a computer and watch my “trailer swing wide” (as my best friend would say). I might like to get into running, maybe even do a race or two.
– eat healthier and less impulsively.

Oh yeah, with the prodding of a friend or two, I just joined a health club yesterday. My arms hurt today. *pout*counseling american creditcard alaska credit airtax 2007 credit hybrid100 bad loan home credit1 in scores 3 creditfirst federal union american creditagenzia accreditataacsend union credit Map
