Since it’s Wednesday and I’ve thought of something I want, I’m gonna host this post this week.
I mentioned in a comment I wrote earlier that I needed a new, shorter belt, and since this afternoon I had a huge urge to shed some more pounds I went out and got one (Ok, so that was probably funnier in my head that out loud, but hey! And it wasn’t actually that expensive).
I looked at the belts in the shop - ‘Evans’, a lovely shop found all over the UK, but one that I hopefully won’t have to go to exclusively for much longer (it’s for big sizes). The one I have already is large so I knew I didn’t want that. I looked at and tried on some medium ones, and then I took a deep breath, let it out again and picked up a small one. It goes round me, and I can just about do it up on the first or second hole (it’s one of those ones with lots of holes) so I could wear it.
But, (and in case you’ve got bored by all my rambling, here comes what I want) I want to be able to wear it properly so that I can tuck the extra bit into the next belt loop along like you’re meant to. Hopefully it won’t be too many weeks away!
Updated to add ~ I went into the kitched to start getting dinner and I suddenly gasped and rushed back in here - I realised I hadn’t changed the category of the post from uncategorized and thought Blest would kill me…!
Oh, and I just noticed the new blog title thing. It looks really great
Oh that’s so COOL, Debs! And I liked your pun! Here the store to “get out of” is Lane Bryant. I am SO happy that I am finally free from there. (although their clothes are lovely) I ceremoniously dumped the last coupon mailer in the trash - I even made my husband watch!

I’ll tell ya what I Want. A leather jacket. I love them and I’ve never had one cause I’ve been telling myself for years, “You can’t have one until the weight is OFF and stays OFF”. I mean, why spend that kind of money on a jacket unless you know it’s going to fit for YEARS.

Blest–and theoretically speaking, wouldn’t a smaller size jacket be cheaper? For me economics always trumps vanity

A regular size is defintely cheaper than a plus size… But I’m regular sized NOW. Still, I must wait til next winter!
