pics in posts

What ya do is use the box below the composition box. First you click the button that says “browse” to access files on your computer. Pick the pic you want and click the upload button which is a little further down and to the left. Once the picture is uploaded, you will see a little thumbnail of it in the browse section.

Right click on the picture and you get a list of options. Clicking on the options toggles them through your choices. For the posts we are doing right now, you want it to be set on “Using Thumbnail” and “Linked to Original”. This will yield the little pic that is clickable to the big pic! After you set it to these choices, click “Send to Editor” and BOOM-baby! You’re there! You can click and drag on the image in the composition box to move it in your post.

If you want a big image for some reason, like the seal I made for LAFF, change “Using Thumbnail” to “Using Original” and send to editor. It will still come in small, but you can click on the frame around the image and drag it to make the picture bigger.

Oh - and by clicking the tab for “Browse All” you can access all the pics that have been uploaded to the site. Like if the LAFF ladies want to all use the seal, you can! Or you can use my hungry lion picture, or whatever…

  1. Ok, it was the send to editor bit that I hadn’t understood before. Thanks for the explanation - I might save this post for future reference!

  2. Okay, Blest, I learned something new. I didn’t know how to put a pic up that you could click on to get the larger picture. I have always resized my pics in photoshop first! How handy!:P
