My Energy Levels (Debs)

I weighed myself this morning (I know, not on the official day so doesn’t really count) and I’m now very close to the “I’ve lost 10 pounds” stage which is very exciting. I wanted to share that with you all this morning for 2 reasons:

Firstly, that means I had to be good and stick to my diet over the weekend - which is the hardest part of the week for me, because you can work out (if you so desire, Blest :-) ) how much I must have lost already this week.

But most important is the second reason. I may have only really carved a small amout off my total weight, but already I can begin to feel the difference in my engery levels. As I’ve been walking around the house this morning every so often I’ll do a little skip or a jump just because I can. It’s soooo cool :-)

Updated: Just wanted to add that although it may appear to some people I wrote this at 3.35am, for me across the pond it’s already 10.35am.

  1. YAY Debs!! That first ten pounds gone is SOOO great. (and so is the next 10 and the next 10 …) Just think - that’s 10% of your goal GONE!!!! Woo Hoo!

  2. I know what you mean. After a week of good exercise (5 times) I have a ton of energy and my mood is better. Great job! I found out today that my scales have been measuring 7 lbs. light. Not a happy discover, but sure motivation to keep up the hard work.
