I’m thankful that my parents have been so supportive about my weight loss.
215 / 196.1 / 160 ~ down 3.5 pounds this week!

Weigh to go Kimberly and Anne!!
Let’s see. I’m down to 205 ~ down 1.5!!
Golly, I have so many things to be thankful for. I’m thankful every day for my wonderful husband. He is such a good man of God, husband and father (in that order) but I’m really thankful that just when it seems as though I can’t deal with an almost 2 year old and almost 1 year old that they do something to redeem their cuteness. This is totally a God thing! He made them this way. I know it!!

I am done to 145 this week!
My secret? A tummy bug. I feel all better now, but I find that my appetite has not fully returned; my stomach feels “tender”. I even went to my church’s Thanksgiving Pie Supper last night and only had two bites of my own delicious peanut butter pie.
So, my stats:
151/145/132
And I am thankful for umpteen things about this healthy/weight loss journey, but most of all for company along the way (that would be YOU).

I’m weighing in at 209 this morning. That makes me quite happy, happy. )
I am thankful for my husband, who has been so very supportive of me- not only during this weight loss journey, but in all things.
Comment by Jenna — November 20, 2006 @ 9:07 am
Oops…I need to relate the things that I’m thankful for back to my weightloss journey. It was all in my head but obviously you guys are not! Because my husband is all that I said he is he encourages me and supports me to be my all for the Lord and kids…I must loose the weight to do this. He knows it. As for my children…well…their little bodies full of tonz of energy! What more do I need to say about that?

I’m thankful for a husband who encourages me in my weight loss and yet never makes me feel like he’d love me more if only I was skinny.
Down 3.8 this week! Woo hoo! (Happy dance)
So, here’s Carrie, reporting in for Team GOAL:
Water: 7/7
Exercise: 4/7

Leann is not allowed to touch the computer today, but she called me with her weigh-in last night. She is down 2, bringing her total weight loss to ten pounds!
Comment by blestwithsons — November 20, 2006 @ 9:41 am
I’m at 279.0
Last week I was 280.4 so it’s only 1.4 down this week but I’m now officially down 15
I’m thankful that my Mum is on this journey with me because we keep accountable to each other.
I’m suffering with a coldy flu thing at the moment, and trying to keep my asthma under control so prayer would be very much welcome!

Down .8 (according to my grandmother’s scale, which seems to be within a pound of mine at home So I’m going to claim .8, but it could be as much as two pounds).
And reporting in for Team GOAL:
Exercise 0/7 (still healing)
Water 6/7
Memory verse 1
Comment by Jana — November 20, 2006 @ 10:03 am
I was so afraid I was going to be up because of period and all that jazz, but I was down .8 instead. And I am taking every little bit I can:-).
I have a question. I exercised 5 days, but on two of those days I went in the evening for special workout sessions and to walk on the treadmill. So are we counting workout session or just days?
I am thankful for a husband who wants me to be healthier physically, spiritually and mentally. I am thankful for exercise which has helped me to sleep better and feel more energized. I am thankful for the Lord who has been working so many things out to give me a place where I can exercise and receive encouragement in a Christian environment. And last but not least, this group which pushed me to start this journey.
Comment by Leigh Ann — November 20, 2006 @ 10:38 am
These past couple weeks have been up and down a few pounds. I’m happy that the intense weight gain of the first month or so has slowed down a bit. Any weight that I need to gain for the baby to be healthy is fine, but I hope to not take it overboard.
I’m thankful to have a supportive community to come back to as an active weight loss participant after the baby is born!
Comment by Lorri — November 20, 2006 @ 1:52 pm
Hey Lorri, no worries - some of us are gonna be for a long time yet
Oh, and I wanted to say well done to everybody
Comment by Debs — November 20, 2006 @ 2:10 pm
210 / 181.4 / 140 - I’m up 2.2. Not sure what is up with that. I was up 3 yesterday but came back down some this morning. All I can figure is that I started lifting weights again so maybe it is muscle that I am adding.
I’m so thankful to have this group to help keep me encouraged. I’m also thankful that my husband is working alongside me and pushes me to work harder during my workouts. I’m incredibly thankful that the Lord has been with me every step of the way.
Comment by Mandi — November 20, 2006 @ 2:10 pm
down 1 lb! I’m excited to see it moving that direction, especially since I’m actually having my period (an uncommon event with my brand of infertility). most cool.
I’m thankful for my husband and my family and more!
Comment by Tracy — November 20, 2006 @ 5:26 pm
down 1/2 pound again!!!
I am thankful that I have learned that it isn’t “dieting” it is a lifestyle change that really helps in weight loss. And I can do this through Christ who strengthens me.
Comment by Maria — November 20, 2006 @ 6:29 pm
I’m thankful that each day is fresh…with no mistakes in it…yet. I’m thankful that God will give me strength if I just learn to rely upon Him. I’m thankful that through the power of Jesus Christ, I don’t have to remain in slavery to anything. I am thankful for a husband who loves me no matter what and who supports my efforts as long as I’m keeping a healthy perspective. I’m thankful for the inspiration I get from my children to keep trying because, Lord willing, I want to live to see them grow up. I’m thankful for a place to share with and encourage others who are on the same journey

November EOM Measurements
Chest (-5cm); Waist (-1cm); Hips (-.5cm); Thigh (-.5cm); Arm (sts)
Not sure I’m thrilled about the chest measurement reduction – really hoping that’s back fat going lol. I think the waist and hip measurements were probably better before AF bloat set it (at least that’s what my pants indicate).

Good job ladies - I’m so happy for you all postees above!
I’m thankful for (relating to this journey) that the sugar/potato/french bread habit CAN be beat. Going a week without the stuff is worse than trying to get off coffee - but it is SO worth it. So I’m thankful today for being sugar free.
