Prayer Request (Anne)

Hi, all! I have a prayer request: my mom is going in for surgery tomorrow (Monday) morning at 7am to get her left knee replaced. She’s young (early 50-ish) to be getting her 2nd knee replacement (the right one got done 4 years ago), but that’s a different story. She doesn’t do very well with anaesthesia — last time she was put under, it took 5x the normal dose to get her to sleep, which makes her nervous for this time. So, if you’re reading this, could you please pray:

  • For peace for her today (Sunday) as she’s mentally preparing
  • For a listening, caring, concerned anaesthesiologist
  • For an easy anaesthesia process — both going down and coming back up
  • For a quick, uneventful, successful surgery
  • For her recovery — it’s a rough road, no matter what age you are, and she’ll be in the hospital until at least Thursday

Thank you!! I really, really appreciate it. I’ll update this when I hear something from my Dad on Monday, but your prayers are appreciated whenever you read this/think of it.
