Force of Habit.
I do NOT want to exercise today. I am feeling tired, grumpy, achy and…well, like a chick if you know what I mean. And yet, here I am in my workout clothes…and in just a few short minutes I’ll be hurting so good!
Husband’s on Leave.
Dude is off today. So I get to go out and run around! Woo Hoo! I think I will finally go get my business license and be O-fficial. But first I have to be
Going to the Doctor.
One of those things I’ve never mentioned… Since shrinking, I’ve discovered a decent sized lump on the side of my tummy. I think it’s just some kind of cyst…but of course one doesn’t just ignore lumps. (ugh) Though one does put off going to the doctor for months. (bad, bad girl) So today I go in for a surgery consult. I tell ya one thing, if they say they’re opening me up, then they’re doing a tummy tuck while they’re in there!!!
Fruit.
I think I’m addicted to Strawberries. Oh heaven!
So…on this lovely July Friday…What do you gotta love??
Bad, bad blest! I’ll be praying for you (about the lump).
And I gotta love air-conditioning cuz it is hot and humid and oh-so-Missouri-weather around here. I’m a wilted flower.
And I gotta love my car cuz it is taking me (Lord willing) to see a high-school friend tomorrow.
Food? It is too hot to eat so I’m good thataway.

Will be praying about the lump…thanks for sharing. I know that can be a bit unsettling.
Gotta love—
Brussels Sprouts with Garlic
–yes, I am addicted. I make 2 batches at a time and eat leftovers with lunch, for snack, even FOR lunch once. Only South Beach could do this to me!
Shredded cabbage ready to make vinaigrette coleslaw. Found a HUGE bag pre-washed at Sam’s for under $3
Running
–another addiction. I used to have to get Boo to call and wake me so I would be out of bed by 7 jusy to get my quiet time in before the kids were demanding things of me. Now I jump out at 6:15 so I can get my run in. I so enjoy it and have only missed because of rain twice in the past 3 weeks or so.
Nancy Leigh DeMoss
–I listen to her podcast when I run. She is the coolest women’s ministry person in my opinion. You can check her out at www.reviveourhearts.com
Rain
–we have had more than our share the past few weeks and although annoying for obvious reasons (mosquitoes among others!) It makes the water and electricity bills lower and I don’t have to water my plants. Thankfully it doesn’t usually rain when I am out running.
