Happy Weigh Day

I’m back! Of course, since I wasn’t really gone in the e-sense of the word I suppose it’s pointless asking if you missed me. :razz: Anyway, it’s that time again!!! Let us not grow weary of eating good, for in due time we will shrink!! This week’s weigh-in prize is a bag of crispy, crunchy, yummylicious Roasted Edamame! You get your choice of lightly salted or wasabi! Good stuff!

  2. I’m saying I maintained because everytime I stepped on the scale it seemed to shift a bit. If it has changed, I’m up 1 at the most … which I completely blame on the fact that I need to nibble something right before bed or I go to bed feeling nauseous!

  3. I am down 2 pounds bringing me to 212. Yah! I think I finally broke a plateau that was hanging over my head for almost 2 weeks!!.

  4. 210 / 184.4 / 145 — I am down 3 lbs (total loss so far is 25.6 lbs). I’m also really excited because yesterday I had to go shopping for clothes b/c mine are literally falling off of me. So far I have gone from a size 18/20 to a size 14!!!! My goal of being a 12 by Christmas seems completely reachable to me right now.

  5. I’m up 1. However, I didn’t exercise at all last week due to my shoulder. It’s finally feeling better, and I’m hoping that I’ll do better in the excersize, diet, and water departments!

    Way to go girls!

  6. Down 1.4! Which I think is pretty good for being on vacation and not being able to do high cardio exercise! (time and childcare issues) But I did TONS of walking…

    If I have a good week this week - I should have twenty gone by next Monday which will keep me on track for my goal of losing ten a month. (oh please oh please)

    I’m also pretty psyched because I just did my exercise and found to my surprise that I didn’t lose any conditioning while on vacation! YIPPEE!!!

  7. This SUCKS!!! I am up 2 this week after a really stressful week with a sick baby…

    I ran this morning and felt good. I did 9 miles last week. I took my measurements and they are the SAME FOR TWO WEEKS in a row but I still gained 2 WHOLE POUNDS - did I mentioned that this SUCKS???

    Back to it this week with PMS on the horizon…

    That would be 163/157/135

  9. (((HUGS))) Leann - I share your frustration. This week I was down 1 and my husband (who isn’t really trying at all) was down FIVE!! You are soooo right is is NOT fair at all.

    BTW, how often do you take your measurements? I’m only doing mine once a month (last friday of the month). There are also online calculators you can use to calculate your lean mass/body fat percentages. I know this helps me some when I seem to have gained or haven’t lost much. I’ll do the calculators and find that I actually put on lean mass (which is good).

    Anyway, I just wanted to give you some hugs and let you know that I’ve been there.

  10. I completely hear you all on the hubby weight loss. My husband and I started at the same time and he is down over 40 lbs already. But if you calculate the percentage of weight loss we are both down almost the same percentage.

  11. 147/143/129 - Down 3 pounds. But at least 2 of that is because the last couple of weeks my scale has been on carpet. This last week I rearranged and found a place for it in the bathroom on hard vinyl floor. Lesson learned - Do NOT put your scale on carpet! Otherwise, I’m not sure that I lost anything because I only exercised once and had a couple of really bad snack days. But I’m trying to squeeze the exercising in again this week.

  15. 260/247/130 (240=short term goal) - down 2 lbs!

    I’m thrilled to be in the 240s for a third week in a row. I’m hoping to get past 245 lbs next week - which will be the first time in at least 9 months that I was that weight!

    Not doing well in other arenas, so feeling very quiet in general. But I’m not overeating, so I guess I’ll be okay eventually.

  18. Okay… Now I don’t wanna brag or anything :wink: But I’m just so excited that I have to share.

    First of all - I started today. So that means that I lost 1.4 pounds on vacation and PMS!! (insert happy dance here)

    AND I just put on my black shorts that were too tight the last time I tried them on (and were too tight when I bought them two years ago…so they were unwearable, then too tight again) and now they fit comfortably - almost getting LOOSE!! YEEEHAW!!

    I will be posting clothes for someone to take of my hands this week. They will be first come first shipped - so if you’re somewhat short and are heading for a Lane Bryant 18 or 16, be ready!

    which I guess isn’t too bad. I really did very well this past week. I even joined the gym (BWS…thanks) so they said that muscle weighs more than fat so it will take a couple weeks to really start seeing a difference in the pounds. I worked out 4 days last week and then again today. I.LOVE.IT!
    I feel so good! And my clothes are not even fitting. I have already given half of my digs to another friend who is losing. Now I am waiting to fit into my sister’s clothes she grew out of too. (She hit her goal about 3 weeks ago.)

  22. I have no change again this week. I really do think I have a junky scale. Really. ‘Cause I can see me going up, but staying the same? Doesn’t make sense.
