This afternoon I went to the dentist and on my way home I was stopped by a guy who said “You look really familiar…” I agreed that I lived in the area and since he did too he might have seen me before. Anyway, before I knew it the guy was asking me if I wanted to give him my phone number or if he should give me his.
I told him that I wasn’t really interested at the moment, but he seemed to want to continue the conversation and asked me what I thought about relationships. I decided to take the plunge and said “Well, I’m a Christian so I would be looking for someone who was a Christian”. He told me that he used to be a Christian, and I challenged him why he wasn’t any more. We ended up having what must have been at least twenty minutes talking about God and Church and how beautiful he thought I was - to which I said thanks, but I still don’t want to go out with you. I told him about my church and told him where we meet and that it’d be great to see him at church sometime. He didn’t seem drunk, but he was holding an open bottle of beer in his hand, so I’m not sure how much of the conversation he’ll remember afterwards, but if you have a minute it’d be great if you’d pray for him that God will keep on his case 
(You’ve probably noticed that I categorised this under ‘just life’ rather than SPUNKS because I wasn’t really convinced it was one of those! It’s nice to be told you’re beautiful even if you’re not sure quite how much the other person means it!)
