Beatiful Bean (LL)

For Christmas, I asked for an exercise ball. What I got was The Bean. (I have a link for it, but I can’t figure out how to work it, so if you want to know what I am talking about, go to Google.)

It came with an DVD with six different sorts of workouts on it, one of which is pilates. I tried it for the first time yesterday. It was fun, but I also thought it was kinda easy. I never really “felt” it. Until today.

My abs are very sore, and my entire back is tender too. I sadly feel nothing in my gluteous maximus, where I need it most, but now that I know that it works, I’ll focus more on that area. So, now I am digging pilates. At least pilates with my Bean. :)

Now that I figured out how to use the big ole thing for something besides a prop-up for painting my toenails or a cushion to sit on while watching a movie, I will be using it to earn some points in the Heart Healthy challenge, which seems to be really heating up. Since I’m still iced-in, what else do I have to do?

  4. Wow, that looks like fun. You can find out about the Bean here. I think I’d need a bigger living room though.

I just placed an order for a Nordic Track elliptical today!

That Bean workout ball looks very cool. Glad to hear it’s effective as well.
