Talk to the Podling . . . (Blest)

I’m creating this post and back-dating it for anyone who has comments or questions from my Tales of a Podling page.

  1. Why is it in the opposite order to normal blogs. I mean I have to scroll down to read the latest. Not a crticism just a comment.

  2. Because it’s a page rather than a post. It’s kinda like just one LONG post.

  3. I see. I think i am a little behind when it comes to blogging. Debs will have to enlighten me sometime. Thanks for being patient with me Blest.

  4. Hey, you are working hard girl! You keep this up and you’ll deserve to win, whether you do or not!

And, thinking about that, you’ll win no matter right? I’m incredibly proud of you! :D

  5. Good luck. I think this is an awesome contest, but why only girls so far?

  6. Hi Mike! I think you may be misunderstanding. The Podfitness challenge is run, of course, through the Podfitness site. They will be picking both a male and female winner.

Now this site is primarily for women - because I’m a woman! We do have at least one man weighing in with us now - and all are welcome. But for our contest - the Queen of May contest - it’s only women. Why? For one thing, men lose a whole lot faster - so it wouldn’t be fair. For another, no man ever asked to join us before!

Like I say, we do have a man hanging around the site now. (his screen name is Bird) If we get enough male participants in the weigh in and such, perhaps a second team could be put together… who knows?!

    Thanks for stopping by!

  7. You’re doing great! Keep up the good work!

I’m sorry about your knees! I have aweful knee problems too. I went last month to see an orthopedic because my right knee had been bothering me since November. I can’t remember what I have is called but it’s basically that the cartilage behind my knee cap is very worn. Have you tried wearing a knee brace? I find that it helps, the support that it provides my knee seems to help out. Just a thought…
