So the stats are in…and the race is heating up! Check out the new LeaderBoard for the Happy Heart Challenge!
Tied for 1st: Blair and Tami with 69 points
Tied for 3rd: Jana and Anita with 56 points
5th: Blest with 50 points
6th: LadyLaura with 48 points
7th: Sarah with 46 points
8th: Debs with 38 points
9th: Bethany with 35 points
10th: D’aun with 20 points
You may look at this and think “Well, I can’t win now….” But don’t let that stop you! Make it your personal goal to finish strong and move up the charts! That’s what I’m doing!
Now… here is an interesting statistic: Since the competition began, OWOA ladies and friends have lost 79.3 pounds. The ladies in the top ten of the Happy Heart Challenge account for 53.9 pounds of that number. That’s 68 Percent of the weight loss earned by 48 percent of the women. Hmmm. What that says to me is that exercise just might have something to do with weight loss! Get moving!!
On the other hand, 42 percent of OWOA’s weight lost was earned by the 14 percent who have names that start with B. So that should scientifically prove that people whose names start with B lose weight better, don’t you think?
Weigh to go everyone!!! Blest, are you going to share the picture of the prize with us?

Can I change my name so that I can lose those pesky last 10 pounds!
Good job everyone! Keep moving! This is the beginning of my 3rd week doing core ball exercises and today it felt wonderful. And they were OH SO HARD the first week. I highly recommend the exercise ball for ab exercises!

Anita, please tell me more about this core exercise ball. Laying on the floor doing abs kills my back for some reason.
Comment by Tami — February 6, 2007 @ 1:24 pm
Tami - I do my ab
tortureexercises from the push up position. If you’d like I can send you detailed instructions. They are sure to cause you pain! ;O)Comment by Mandi — February 6, 2007 @ 2:46 pm
Please do Mandi. I am quite intrigued by this.

Tami,
I inherited one of these balls from my sister-in-law and I bought this book. Put the two together and viola!

Anita, how’s about we call you Barbie?!
And yes, Maria, it counts if only your online persona starts with a B. Besides, I’ve had the name for so long I’m starting to forget my other one. It sounds kinda boring compared with blest anyway.
Comment by blestwithsons — February 6, 2007 @ 3:38 pm
I don’t think I want to be Barbie. *pout*
Comment by Anita — February 6, 2007 @ 3:43 pm
Anita - Barbie is better than Bratz. ;O)
Comment by Mandi — February 6, 2007 @ 3:52 pm
