I’ve got the little one over at my house today, and in a little while we’re going to the park over the road to see the ducKs (big emphasis on the K!) He usually has a nap in the morning so I’d taken him up to my room to see if he’d go down for a nap, but my room was just too exciting, and especially my scales - he loved standing on them
And then I realised, I’ve already lost ‘a little one’ worth of weight. Yesterday I was disappointed with myself because I’d put weight on rather than lost, but this puts it in perspective. The little one is already getting to the stage that you’d rather push him in the buggy or let him walk than carry him. That is a significant amount of weight! Although there’s a long way to go, and sometimes I don’t get it right, no-one (except me) can take away the fact I’ve already lost that much weight. And I am determined I’m not putting it on again. NO WAY!

Great job Debs!
My son got onto the scales yesterday (he’s six) and I was thinking it wouldn’t be too terribly long before I could say something like that! Of course, I got about thirty pounds to go, but I lost 20 in January! So maybe I can lose 30 by summer? We shall see!
