I just had to share this with you guys. This is the first time I’ve been able to wear my wedding band and engagement ring for a long time. I took it off when I was pregnant three years ago, and I’d only been wearing it a few weeks at that point, having just lost weight from my third pregnancy! So it’s really been about six years. I’ve worn only the anniversary ring. Hubby kept offering to resize my rings for me, but I told him no. I wanted to lose the weight instead. When he got home last night, I showed him the rings and he was really happy. Great gift for him and me!

This reminds me of my friend Sandy who is 40 and pregnant for the third time. Her wedding rings don’t fit so she went and bought a big ole cheapy piece of bling so, in her words, she wouldn’t look like a middle-aged unwed mother. LOL.

Jana - we have the same wedding band lol!!! How funny!!
Anyway - CONGRATULATIONS!!!! That is a big deal! After me not wearing mine for years(couldn’t wear either one)…my hubby was tired of it and got them resized…now they are loose and spin around my finger but I’m not getting them sized back down till I absolutely have to. You rock woman - keep it up!

I couldn’t wear my wedding rings at the end of my pregnancy or for a month afterwards. But then I was able to squeeze them on. Now, although I’m not at pre-pregnancy weight, they are loose! I guess I’m not retaining as much water as I was. I’m looking forward to the day of downsizing!!
