In the effort to find some new type of exercise I haven’t done before, I pulled out a Pilates DVD I bought a few years back and never even took out of the case. Flipping through the book that came with it, I noticed I would be expected to get down on the floor for this. Great. My dog sleeps on that floor. So I got the vacuum and cleaned up. That burned a few calories, but it doesn’t count as a new exercise (though my husband might beg to differ ). I popped in the DVD.
The lady, Jennifer somebody, has a nice, soothing Australian accent, which is good, because she makes it sound easy and effortless. It actually turned out to be much more challenging than I had anticipated. Eventually I had to stop. Not because of the exercise, but because my bed was in the way. Not much space on the floor in my room.
But I do think that when I can find a larger place to do this, I will really enjoy it. It was fun to try out!
yeah pilates is amazing… i do it about 4 times a week. new to your blog, it looks nice

Jana, have you gotten to the “seal” position/exercise yet? I have a friend who knocked over her potted plant doing it! Be careful…

o dear haven’t really done nay exercise at all not even swimming this week let alone anything new. There just doesn’t seem to be time to look for anything. O well thjere is stil the weekend
