Ok, so I thought the necklace was beautiful in the photo Blest posted; however, I have to tell you it didn’t do it justice! When I got the package Friday night I was excited….but when I opened that little box tied with ribbon…my mouth dropped open and I just stared. The hubby was standing there going through the other mail and says, “what?” to the look on my face. “It’s absolutely gorgeous!” I replied. I put it on right then and modeled it for the family. My girls wanted to wear it (7, 4, 2) and I said…”um, this is big girl jewelry..how ’bout we wait till you’re a little older”. To which my 2 year old asked, “when I get bigger?” I nodded. “I’ll be bigger on my birfday.” (her “birfday” is next month). I laughed and told her she needed to be bigger than that. By the way, my husband and son also found it very beautiful…my son actually said, “wow mom, that’s beautiful”.
Saturday I wore the necklace to the coffee shop, park and mall. I chose a pink top just so I could wear the necklace lol. Today I decided to play with my new hot iron (I don’t normally wear my hair curly) and when I was finished thought I’d have the hubby snap a shot of me wearing the necklace before I had to change into something to take my challenge pictures in. Blest, you do beautiful work and I am so honored to be the recipient of this. Thank you!
added: apparently I was chewing gum when this pic was shot…that green spot is gum, not my teeth on the right lol. I do that alot - I need to remember to spit out my gum before I have my picture taken
