Cures what ails ya! (blest)

Okay…so I just made fresh pico de gallo - loaded with roasted green chiles and raw onions, tomatoes, and jalapenos. Threw in some lime juice and a little salt. Then added a can of drained black-eyed peas for protein. I just ate an entire bowl of it with a spoon. (chips are a no-no, y’know) WOOOO! C’mon Baby, light my fire!!! And I’m going to have it as a side dish with a grilled burger tonight. If that doesn’t knock this cold out, I don’t know what will!

As an added benefit, my breath could kill a dragon at twenty paces.

  1. Sounds yummy. We just went to the farmers market this weekend and we bought everything to make a “killer” salsa!! They had some beautiful serrano peppers!

  2. No way - we’re having burgers! I am going to have to do the salsa on a different night though… my jalapenos and tomatoes are “almost” ripe in the garden! Yummy on the beans - I might try black ones.

Here’s my snack for the day…. feta stuffed celery (I have this thing for feta)… feta cheese mashed and some homemade “italian dressing” to give it a ricotta consistency - stuff your celery!
