I did it (Lorri)

It was a challenging eating weekend ~ our whole family got together to do a yard sale. After the first long day, we headed out to eat at our favorite Chinese restaurant, the first time I’ve been been there since getting serious about losing weight. I looked over my WW book and planned out ahead of time what I would ~ and wouldn’t~ eat. And then stuck to it once I was there. Funny thing was, I didn’t even really miss a couple old favorites (crab rangoon) that I normally love. I just didn’t feel that they were worth the points. :-) The hot and sour soup was delicious, as was the chicken & broccoli and chinese veggies.

Saturday brought a trigger food challenge. My sister brought out a basket of Little Debbie brownies and oatmeal creme pies, the two foods eaten most as emotional eating binges last year after we moved. I’m probably still carrying around a few boxes on my thighs! Seriously, these foods have been major binge triggers that I simply haven’t been able to eat in moderation. But yesterday I had 1 oatmeal creme pie for 4 points…….that was it. No brownies, no second pies…….and you know what? It wasn’t even that good.
