Just caved into a piece of pumpkin pie (one of the lowest sugar pies there is) at my MIL’s house today but was good the rest of the weekend. How about you???

Now here’s an annoying thought… Yes, Pumpkin Pie has less added sugar, but pumpkin is a very high glycemic veggie. A 75 actually. That’s higher than almost all fruits! I wonder how it all works out…?

I succumbed a tad. I was baking a lot of stuff for other people, so it was all around me. It threw me down on the kitchen floor, put me in a head lock and shoved cookies down my throat.

I had pumpkin pie at my mom’s birthday party Friday night, but it was made with honey ’cause my mom doesn’t do sugar.
