Today at lunch, I made a mistake. I finished the last remnants of lunch.
You know how there is only one biscuit left, and just a bit of this, a taste of that. And you think - it’s not enough to put into the fridge as a leftover. I don’t want to waste it!
So you eat it?
And instantly regret it.
Well, I did that today. And now I remember something my dear husband has said in the past - it’s going to be wasted - one way or the other. Either in the wastebasket or on someone’s waist.
Let this be a reminder to myself - I don’t want to waist it!

I’m so guilty of this. I eat what’s left on my kids’ plates all the time. And the last of whatever’s on the table. It’s a good way to look at it though: food like that does me no good no matter what I do with it.
