Okay, so I’m really late to the Works For Me Wednesday party…. Last week we had a great chart from Lorri for tracking weight loss. This week I wanted to show you my exercise log. When I started my weight loss journey a little over a month ago, I created a spreadsheet in Excel for tracking the whole OWOA team. But I also created one for just tracking myself. The biggest and best part of it isn’t my weigh-ins, though. The best part is my exercise log. Every day I post the date, what bike program I used, and how long I rode. Then I put a brief statement about how I’m feeling. Looking back at this record is oh-so-satisfying on those days when the scale isn’t being the encouragement I want it to be. I look at how much exercise I’ve gotten -and I know I’m accomplishing something! Something like lowering my blood pressure! Something like getting stronger! And something like taking steps towards becoming the woman God wants me to be.
Besides, when I see a chain of good days like that - I’m REALLY reluctant to break it! Logging my exercise - Works For Me!
