I’m so happy to be a part of this group! I am all ready to have my official first weigh-in on Monday. Here’s a little background:
I’m a former WW meeting leader who previously lost 90 pounds and maintained it for three blissful, size 8 years. Then I got married and had two beautiful boys (19 months apart). I gained 50+ pounds with each pregnancy and I’m struggling to lose the excess, and I have unfortunately gained some more. But I have confidence in WW and I am going to stick with that plan. (I have about 40 pounds to lose.)
I’m also a former creative and technical writer from the corporate world who quit that job (and my WW job which I held concurrently) when I had my sons since I didn’t want to put them in daycare. I made a good salary but my job satisfaction was ZERO compared to what I do now.
Some other stats: I’m 40, been married 3.5 years, and my boys are 11 months and 2.5. Yeah, yeah, these major life changes happened late for me, but I always knew God had these things in store for me so I didn’t care how long He made me wait. I live in Oklahoma in a metro area and I drive a Toyota Highlander. I like eggs for breakfast and my hair is brown. My toenails are currently painted with OPI’s Cajun Shrimp, my signature color of summer.
Welcome! I’m right there with you on waiting on God for marriage and babies.
And on gaining those lovely pounds with pregnancy! 
AND I was born in OKC … how about all that for coincidences!

WOOHOO… ANOTHER “MATURE” MOMMY!!! I will be 40 in December and my youngest is 2. Boy, don’t they keep you busy???

Welcome, Christine - I’m another 40 something (okay, I’m 41!), with a 2.5 year old boy. He keeps me young, or so I’m told!
(of course, the almost teenagers in my household are going to make me very old before my time, so maybe it will all balance out)
