Most of you probably know, or maybe you don’t, that I have not officially started the weight loss until tomorrow. With vacationing and sharing meals between the five families or so that were there with us at camp it was hard to control what we had to eat. I am officially going on a vegetarian diet with limited amounts of certain animal proteins along the way. I am mainly doing this particular plan because that is what the perimenopause information says would be best for regulating hormones and dealing with a few things I am dealing with personally (uterine tumor and very high estrogen levels). That being said I found this great link for putting a free diet online together with the vegetarian option. It is at Better Homes and Gardens… so her ya go.
My exercise of choice is walking and building back up to running with weight lifting on my off days.
I noticed the format you guys are doing for the weigh in and I will do that but I will also be taking weekly measurements because it is not all about the scales for me. I want to have smaller proportions, too and with lifting weights I may not always lose a pound but gain instead with muscle weight.
See you guys tomorrow for the official weigh-in.
Yeah - I’ve been hearing the crickets chirping all weekend!! You’d think nobody needs diet help on Saturday and Sunday…that or they’re all off eating cake like some other people I could mention. Hee hee…

Heeheehee… and it was yummy, too. But one small piece was all I could take - too sweet! We had church dinner today, too and I was pretty good with only tasting a bite of dessert of the kids plate. We got one big plate and ate off it as a family. Kept everyone from eating too much that way.
