Hi, my name is Christy

And I’m addicted to sugar.

I don’t know how it happened!  We were staying in hotels and constantly on the go, and we’d stop at Starbucks here, get a little dessert there…

And now I’m stressed out, tired, and every day when my kids go down for their naps, I scour the cupboards for something sweet to eat!  I tell myself that it will be just one small bite, but yeah, that isn’t working.

 I think I have to go completely sugar free to detox because I seriously cannot resist these cravings right now!

  1. Christy, good luck with that! The sugar addiction is hard… but it’s SO worthwhile to not be controlled by it… I support the sugar-free detox. I might try doing it still with fruit in your diet just so you don’t lose the nutrients of the fruit. but you know what you need. We’re here to support you!

  2. I’ve been, for the most part, sugar free for about 6 weeks now. Your energy goes way up when you start eating right and stay away from junk candy.

    We have been eating out 85% cocoa chocolate every day, though. :-) (At Blest’s behest :-)

  3. Let me tell you, girl, I went cold turkey. This was before South Beach. It was a very rough 2 weeks. But it was WORTH it! I was craving it big time, but now, I rarely think about it.
