210/163.6/135 (short term goal is to be in the 150’s by end of June) - I’m down 4.2 this week! I have been stuck forever so I tried some new things to get out of this plateau and it is working!! I even went shopping this week and was delighted that everything I bought was a size 10. Last summer I was wearing a size 20.
Down 1.4. Hooray! I’m in a very excited mood today ‘cos I’m singing with a jazz band at a Cambridge college ball tonight. In my new gold dress. And then dancing ’til dawn. (Possibly, if my boss says I can take tomorrow morning off.)
Hovering around 131 so I’m gonna take it as a down 1 pound this week. Fighting off a cold last week, so no exercise to speak of, and looking forward to adding that back in this week.
Given that I a)took last week off from cardio - trying to get my knees better b)didn’t cheat but ate a little extra due to company and c)got nowhere near enough sleep and d)still recovering from water issues… I’m pleased!
As for me, I again have no change on the scale. But I feel slimmer, and like I mentioned last week, clothes are fitting now that didn’t. What does it all mean? I dunno. I shall just keep plugging away at what I have been doing.
Ok, here is the problem…I had to weigh in in 2 different scales, so my numbers are not exact. 185/181/160. That is 2 lbs since Wednesday when I started with you gals and 4 lbs since Sunday when I started exercising. Good job everyone. This is sooooo encouraging!

I fell off the wagon earlier in the week and I let the wagon run over me this weekend. Stress was my excuse! Well, this week is going to be another stressful week at work, but I won’t let it get me…not this time!
I also re-injured my knee, so even though I worked out 6 days, I took it easy and tried not to push too hard. This morning my knee was feeling better, so hopefully I’ll continue to see improvements.

I think that my body has been a bit screwy with fluids lately, and I know I had some salty stuff over the weekend (I let myself have some nibbles at a Golden Wedding Anniversary party which was for a couple in my church). Sooooo, I’m gonna take it as a loss (cos that way I feel happier and more motivated to do better this week ) It’s not perfect, but it’s still better than what it could be.
Well done everyone. Most people seem to have a loss this week. Christina you just jump right on that wagon (or better still walk alongside it - more exercise that way!) and concentrate on making this a good week. Last week is gone, and never coming back, but this week is gonna be great! Oh, and stick in there Jana, Laura and Brandi.
220/178.4/175 oops up again (2.6)not quite as much as I was down last week (2.8) Actually I think it was that same weekend party that did for me but really don’t feel too bad about it. It was a great occasion celebrating a golden wedding and the food was yummy. I should have stuck to water but the non alcoholic punch was rather good. A bit down on the exercise as well last week only managed 1 swim.
On the plus size lots of compliments in my new dress. And some male friends brave enough to coment on my weight loss. I think it must really show. I realised I haven’t been this slim for at least 10 years so current church folk, work colleagues etc have never seen me like this. I like it.
I have no idea what I weighed last week. I think it was 189, but I’m too lazy to look it up! Argh! I’ve been terrible!! But, I’m heading to the gym tonight and my week is looking relatively calm compared to last week (VBS, doctors appointments, gifted testing for my daughter, step kids moving in, throwing a big ole Father’s Day party….kinda crazy!)I have big plans for losing weight this week. I’m sooooooo ready!

Ok, this is really annoying!!!! I have been using other peoples scales because I didn’t have one. By the ones I used I had lost nearly 4 lbs this week. 185/181/160 But my hubby got me a scale today while he was out and ahhhhhhhhhhhh it says 185!!! I’m super annoyed. Now I know next week I’m going to be disappointed because I was shooting for the 170s by next Monday. Very frustrating! But on the plus side (people who use that saying must never have been a plus size) I hit the treadmill for 40min today and feel great.
Way to go everyone! Nikki, I had the same thing happen last year when I got a Tanita scale that measures body fat…it is consistently two pounds higher. It’s an adjustment at first, but you’ll get used to it next week when you’ll be down again! My numbers… 216/212.6/150
That’s down 2.2, I think from last week. Still aiming to be back to my lowest OWOA weight of 209 by the end of June, but hopefully next Monday!

Not the direction I want to be going in but I can’t say I’m surprised.
