A spoonful of natural peanut butter is an incredibly yummy treat…
You binge eat…on brussels sprouts.
You get excited over leftover edamame for breakfast.
You chortle gleefully in the Wal Mart check out line as you put your new - and heavier - hand weights on the check out.
You lick a tiny drop of maple syrup off your finger while making muffins and find yourself reeling from the unaccustomed sweetness. (gaaaah)
What else?
And let me tell you, standing in the sport section of WalMart, wearing a dress, pumping iron while listening to your iPod is one sure way to get funny looks.
But I wanted to make sure my elbows could deal with the new weight. They’ve been a little cranky…

Your pyjama trousers keep falling down (note to self, get some new ones!)

Blest–funnily enough, I just bought smaller weights! I had a five-pounder that I got for Nick that I started using. I was beginning to feel a bit to bulky in the biceps instead of toned. I got a 1.5 and 3 lb to use for a while and see what happens, doing more reps.
For me, I know I am changed when I choose a cup of yogurt with granola for breakfast instead of hashbrowns. Never would have thought it
Also when a summer treat is sucking on a cup of frozen grapes instead of eating an ice cream sandwich.

You go out to eat with your family at a Mexican restaurant and the chip bowl stays full but the salsa bowls need to be refilled constantly. I think the waiter thought it a bit strange when he saw Bird actually take a sip from his salsa bowl…yes, weird, I know…

Yeah, that was some good salsa. I drank two bowls of it, really.

You not only try a recipe like Roasted Radishes, but you LOVE it and have to force yourself to stop eating it.
Recipe to be posted soon.
And I’ve done the drinking salsa thing… But I took my own little bowl and dipped a fork in it, slurping it off the tines.

Just to clarify…it was his own bowl. Otherwise, that would have just been gross…

…Your body feels off when you DID NOT exercise and move it.

Aint that the truth! And when you ENJOY exercising and kinda like that lightly sore feeling of worked muscles…

Or how bout when you walk to the mailbox and have to fight NOT to break into a run?! (stupid stupid knees)

When you eat something you used to think was “healthy” and then realize how not healthy it truly is when your workout suffers as a result of the poor nutrition of the most recent meal!
