…and I must say a little comfort food is the craving right now. I knew, sorta, what I was coming home to. We had my BIL keeping an eye on the place while we were away and got the call that our sunroom had flooded but he had cleaned it up. We lost a few toys and a children’s Bible of Emmy’s in the water. We have recurring issues with roof leakage around our evaporative cooler but there is a new leak in the living room and I will be calling the insurance company on Monday to see about getting it ALL fixed. I smell mold in my sunroom and kitchen area (just a little) - and, well, I am allergic to mold so I have a headache today from it. Our van had to be towed around 1:00pm today for a continuing issue with our ignition (which is under warranty) and I need a HUGE NAP!!! We got in last night around midnight here. The kiddos had their last gymnastics class for the summer this morning and I picked up my cooperative order. I have been good, though. I have not had a soda in over two weeks. I will be eating birthday cake today, though, because my little Davy is 6 today and we MUST HAVE CAKE!!! LOL All in all, I am in good spirits, my home is still standing and God is still in control of all of it even though I feel out of control. Me being out of control is in my best interest, though, and I know that full well. Thanks for your prayers for us. We had a lovely time (despite my PMS and gripy attitude in having no shower for a WEEK!) and I will share all of it at my main blog and lots of pictures on my Flickr. If you are not a member of my friends and family at Flickr just shoot me an e-mail and I will add you guys. It is good to be home… now off to bake that cake.
I will add the recipes and work on a page for them later - after the weekend or so. We are still unpacking and I have TONS OF SMOKEY LAUNDRY.

I don’t suppose you could (ahem) talk and bake at the same time…hmmm? Somebody missed you!!!
Glad you’re back. If the mold is buggin ya too much you know where there’s a bed waiting for you!
