On our Weigh

  3. Okay - color me stupid… I just want to make sure that you ladies give me the actual change for the week. I’m tracking the numbers on my excel spreadsheet and want to be able to announce how much we shrunk the cow from week to week…

  5. Well, I have no idea if I lost any weight this week since until today, I didn’t even know what I weighed. But I am fairly certain I was lighter on Tuesday and Wednesday than I was on Saturday and Sunday. This means I am probably right about where I started….

    My weight thingy:
    151/151/0

    I think I am past the denial phase and now in the anger phase.

    Ok let me redo this, and as I pulled my numbers from my first weigh-in I put in the wrong starting weight… so below are my true numbers

    333/325.4/150 - down 5.8 lbs last (this?) week -

    Lost 7.6 Total

    I made a goal to exercise 4 times and week, watch the portion sizes, and reduce snacking between meals. Those love handles have got to GO!

    Work on Friday was hard. While everyone else was eating 2-3 chocolate chip cookies, I had one.

  17. Oh, and in addition, I’m working towards reducing my body fat percentage. The health club I joined has a funny little piece of equipment that you hold in your hand and it measures your body fat. I did it last week and it came out 30.5% (which is the top of the normal/slightly overweight range). The top of the healthy range is 24%. So that’s what I’m working towards. My family has a history of heart disease, diabetes, and all sorts of other illnesses. As I get older, I’m becoming more concerned about my overall health.

  18. After a week of hiking I was pleasantly surprised this morning…

    160/158/135 - down 2 pounds this week.

    My measurements are

    42/33/42 with a goal of 38/30/38 I tend to be an hourglass shape - very curvy - which my hubby loves but I wish I were smaller in the curvy areas. Remember I am posting measurements because I am also lifting weights to change my shape. :)

  19. You gals are doing SUPERFANTASTIC!!!!! I am so excited for you Jana - that is such a benchmark thing to break that barrier!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am also praying for the sickies to go byebyebye… God is so good - I am glad we have each other through all of this. What a great idea this was to start this support group!!! …and I can say that because it was NOT my idea so no pats on the back for me. I am just blessed to my toes that I can be a part of it!!!!! ;)

  22. Carrie, I was up last week for the same reason. (((HUG))) I am down this week afterward and all my water weight gain is gone. I know it happens to me EVERY month! Hang in there and just keep on with your plan. Love to ya!!!

    Thanks Blair! Losing on vacation is only a result of hiking up a mountain and wading the river and chasing three little ones in camp all week. The big one went fishin’ with his daddy… LOL That is my kind of vacation. I need a vacation from my vacation… ;)

  23. Great attitude Carrie! I hope your monthly visitor packs her bags soon and leaves you alone. Why does she need so much baggage anyway? It’s beyond me but she usually loads me down as well.

    I am not making excuses, buuuuut I have had a rough past week. I had 2 cappucinos to stay awake while driving and M&M’s and then potato salad and strawberry shortcake, along with other good southern cookin’ after the funeral! And Lord, I could go on and on, so up .6 is really not too bad considering! There is always next week! :)
