Hot & Bothered (Lady Laura)

“Eating fiery foods can make you feel full faster, so you eat up to 200 fewer calories during a meal, according to a recent study published in Physiology and Behavior. It also turns out that capsaicin, a compound found in chilies, speeds up the metabolism.”

Cool, huh? Or should I say, hot!

  1. I experienced that last night as I attempted to make a rice & lentil dish Indian style. Boy was it hot. I couldn’t eat everything that was on my plate.

  3. My hubby LOVES spicy food and puts hot sauce on most everything he eats. HE has lost 51 lbs to my 25 so maybe there is something to be said for sweating while you eat!
