There’s lots of SPUNK posting going on today! Cool!
Well, I think I had my best SPUNK ever, combined with a nice humbling, anti-SPUNK today, just to keep me from thinking too highly of myself…
First, while in the teacher’s lounge, getting a new reader for one of my students, one of the janitors stops me and says, “You should really be a model!”
I’m quite flabbergasted, as I’m not exactly model material and I wonder if she’s even looked in an issue of Vogue in the last hundred years….
Now, every time she sees me around the school she says, “Hey, Mrs. Model.”
As I was leaving school today, I pass an assistant teacher and her daughter. As I pass, I hear the daughter ask her mother,”Hey, when is that lady going to have her baby?”
The mother quickly shushes her and whispers,”She’s already had it. Hush!”
Oh well. Like I said…humbling.

I laughed so hard. I had a very nice dress that made me look pregnant - after the second comment about when was I due I sent that dress to Goodwill - I didn’t care about what a good deal I had got on it!
