Blow the Trumpets, Beat the Drums
Behold the Queen of May, she comes!
Bow before her, sing her praise
As she steadily changes what she weighs!!
(I crack myself up)
Yes Ladies (and gentleman in the audience), it is TIME. Ten weeks have gone by, and 148 pounds have been shed. (by challenge participants I mean) New exercises were tried, and new recipes. Water was chugged. Dreams were dreamed, and steps were taken to making them come true. It’s been ten busy weeks!! And now it is time to crown our two Queens Of May. I used everyone’s starting weight and height to calculate starting BMI and divided the participants into two groups. From each group emerged a victorious Queen, each of whom will receive a $45 gift certificate to Amazon! Woo Hoo! And now, please join me in congratulating our two Royal Personages…
Cristina!
and
Bekki!
Both of these lovely ladies were very steady in their progress, posting a loss almost every week. Plus they both performed admirably in the bonus challenges. Of the eight challenges, Cristina completed seven, and Bekki nailed all eight! All hail to our Queens of May!!
I would also like to salute Jana and Katherine who both hit high marks in this competition!
Finally, nominations are in for the Most Encouraging. We do have a clear winner, with one person being consistently mentioned. I would like to extend warm hugs and congratulations - plus a $15 Amazon Gift Certificate to our own Barnabas…
Debs!
Thank you Debs for all your loving encouragement. This site wouldn’t be the same without you! Props also to Anne, who was runner-up!

Well done Cristina and Bekki. And hey for Debs. Even though I am her mum I think she deserved it.
Had to wait till this morning to find out because of the time difference so I am glad I can log in at work.
