“[M]ustard seed contains glucosinolates, phytonutrients shown to help prevent certain cancers. it is also packed with anti-inflammatory selenium and magnesium and has a great reputation as a circulation enhancer, which makes it a digestive stimulant on top of being a super flavor enhancer[..]” ~from Experience Life magazine
I happen to love mustard, especially horseradish mustard, so I wondered what good stuff my horseradish had that I didn’t know about.
I found:
Horseradish is high in dietary fiber, vitamin C, potassium, folate, B6, and other stuff I don’t feel like typing out right now.
Do I have good taste or what?!
Now I feel doubly good for scarfing up lots of wasabi with my sushi!

I love ‘em both - and especially together…
But mostly I just like saying “WaSAAAAbi!!”

mmmmm. Mustard seeds are good in curries, especially because you usually cook it in hot oil until the seeds start to pop. Very messy, but so much fun!
